We collect information you give us when you create an account: your name and email address, a password if you sign up with one, and your profile picture if you sign up with Google.

Usage Information

We collect information about how you use our service, including the videos you upload, the summaries you generate, and the questions you ask about your own captures.

Browser Extension

Our browser extension detects when you join video meetings on supported platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to help you capture and transcribe meetings. The extension only activates on meeting websites and does not monitor your general browsing activity. Meeting detection data is only sent to our servers when you are logged in and choose to start a capture.

Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your video and audio content
• Generate summaries and answer questions about your captures
• Send you service-related communications
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Storage and Security

We store your data securely using industry-standard security measures on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. Access to your content is strictly controlled, and we implement best practices to protect your data in transit and at rest.

Who else processes your data

We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train models. To provide the service we pass it to a small number of processors, each for one purpose: Paddle for payments and invoicing, as the reseller and Merchant of Record; Deepgram for speech to text; Google and OpenAI for summaries, answers and embeddings; Resend for account email; PostHog for product analytics; and Cloudflare and Hetzner for hosting and delivery.

How long we keep it

Your content stays until you delete it. Deleting a capture or a workspace removes it and its transcripts, summaries and media, and deleting your account removes all of it. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires, and Paddle keeps its own copy as the seller of record.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as theme, language and timezone. We also use PostHog for product analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and to record which buttons and pages are used. We do not record your screen or your session. PostHog honours the Do Not Track setting in your browser, and you can block these cookies in your browser without losing access to the service.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
