Record a call with nothing joining it, get a summary with clickable timestamps, and ask questions about anything you have captured, in 35+ languages. **Q: What sources work with Variability?** A: Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams through our browser extension or macOS app, plus YouTube links, Loom videos and direct uploads (MP4, MP3, WAV, MOV). If you can watch or listen to it, we can summarize it. **Q: How do I get started?** A: Sign up on the Free plan, no credit card. You can record a meeting or paste a link straight away, and the summary is ready within seconds of the recording ending. ### Meeting Capture **Q: How does meeting capture work?** A: Open the browser extension or the macOS app before the call starts and click record. The transcript builds as people talk, so you can ask about what was just said while the call is still running. Nothing appears in the participant list and nobody has to approve an extra attendee. **Q: Do I need to install anything?** A: Not for browser capture: it uses the browser to record the screen and audio, and asks for those permissions when you start. The macOS app is there if you would rather capture outside the browser. **Q: Do you need access to my calendar?** A: No. We never ask for calendar permissions and we do not track your schedule. Your workspace and everything in it stay exactly as they were. **Q: Do I need a credit card to start?** A: No. Sign up with Google and start on the Free plan straight away. We only ask for payment if you choose to upgrade or buy extra hours. **Q: Can I switch plans later?** A: Anytime, from your settings. Upgrades are prorated so you only pay the difference, and downgrades take effect at your next renewal. **Q: What payment methods do you accept?** A: Major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, through our reseller Paddle. There is a free plan precisely so nobody has to pay to find out whether this works for them. ### Account & Security **Q: Are my meeting captures secure?** A: Transcripts and summaries are encrypted at rest and in transit. We never share, sell, or use your data to train AI models. **Q: Who can see my recordings?** A: Only you, unless you share a link yourself. We do not use your content for anything other than running the service for you. **Q: Can I delete my account and data?** A: Yes. Delete a single recording or the whole account from your settings, and everything attached to it goes with it. There are no hidden archives. **Q: What happens to my data if I cancel?** A: Nothing is deleted when you cancel.
